My narrative about the old lady

One cloudy day an old lady named Suzy went for a walk in the park. When the old lady came back, she went for a nap in her house. When it was night time an enormous intoxicated man came running across the street. He stopped when he saw a laptop, Ipod touch, Iphone and lots of money on the table. He grabbed a crowbar from the corner of her house and yanked the door open. The man thought in his mind “Goody”.

The man went inside and stole everything on the table. It was all worth $1000. He took off as fast as the wind. When the lady woke up she was mad and she shouted across the room “WHO HAS STOLEN  MY  STUFF?”.
She called the Police and said in her terrified      voice “Someone has robbed me. Please come quickly because they might come back”.
The Policeman told her to live in a hotel while they sorted out the robbery in her house.
She agreed so the Police took her to the nearest hotel and made sure she was comfortable.

When she walked into the hotel she was amazed because there were other old ladies there. They were all in a similar situation and  had all been victims of crime .

Later, back at the crime scene, the Policemen heard someone or something playing music in the bush. They looked behind the bush and hiding in the leaves was the enormous intoxicated man. He got up and ran as fast as a cheetah in the other direction, so the Police knew that this would be a mission.

The police surrounded the area of the trees and bushes and soon he came running out. The man was arrested for being in the possession of the old ladies stuff. The Policemen returned all the goods that the old lady owned. They smiled as they drove away,  ‘Red Wine’ by UB40 was blasting out from her ipod touch.

The End

Measuring the distance of our cable cars

This graph shows the total distance of everyone's car cable experience. Tyler's cable car traveled the furthest with a total of 8m. Fine's car traveled the shortest distance which was 3m. For this experiment we had to use a triangular prism and a rectangular prism to make our cable cars. We cut out the templates and stuck the roof of the cable car to the straw. We then stuck the base of the cable car onto a balloon. To measure the travel distance we had to mark where our cable cars stopped. My cable car travelled 7.7m.

My time at Eastern Beach, By Raymond

Eastern beach

One sunny day the school went to Eastern beach. Miss Paton said that the bus was late to come and we were waiting and waiting. At last the bus came. We went on a flash bus. When we go there we went to play games. One of the teachers called us in the water. First we put on our life jackets and floated like bumble bee laying on our backs. Later I got out of the water and had yummy fish and chips. They were yum. After that I had a little swim and we had to get out. We got to get out of our togs and got dressed to go back to school. Later when we got back to school I had a nice piece of fruit.. At the end Miss Paton asked some easy questions. We all went home. When I went home I said to my mum that I had an amazing time at Eastern Beach.
